The Discovery Series programming at the Ned Smith Center is targeted at families and adults with a wide variety of events, from art workshops to citizen science programs to hands-on nature experiences.
Ever wonder where all the insects go when it gets cold outside? Or what a “deer-yard” is? Join us for a half-mile hike through the forest as we learn how our native wildlife survive winter. Our preserved specimens will give visitors the chance to see some of these animals and their unique adaptations up close.
While this event is FREE, please register ahead of time at nedsmithcenter.org or by calling the Center at 717-692-3699.
