The Battle of Gettysburg is full of stories of brave men. But there are many 'her-stories' hidden in the history of this great event. There were women of the town, women who came from a distance, they were young and old. Some had medical training while others had none. They all were heroes as much as the men who fought on the field. Yet most were forgotten and only recently have been recognized for the service they gave during months after the smoke cleared. This presentation will be about some of these women of the Gettysburg story.

Join Licensed Battlefield Guide Deb Novotny as she takes a look at the Battle of Gettysburg from a different perspective.
