Family Cooking Class: Vegetable Sushi
We are excited to be able to start offering our family classes again and are taking steps to ensure that all parents, children and HBI staff stay healthy and have a great delicious summer!
Here is what you need to know:
- This program is limited to 15 individuals, so make sure you register early to save your spot. If you or your child is showing any signs of illness, please do not attend our class. If anyone in your group begins to show any signs of illness while at our program you will be asked to leave immediately.
- Each family will at a different workspace within our Bee Room, so there will be no sharing of ingredients or equipment. Your station will be 6' away from the other families/ groups.
- With Adams County currently in the Yellow Phase, masks are still required for anyone over 2 years old. We ask that you respect the requirement so that our farm and market can continue to operate and serve you. All individuals participating in this program must wear a mask.
Sushi isn't always fishy! In fact, we love a simple veggie roll during this time of year because it is yet another way to enjoy our fresh veggies. Join us to talk about veggie combinations and learn how to assemble and roll your sushi roll. Once you learn the basics with us, it opens the door to all kinds of innovation.
In each of our family cooking classes, you will make recipes, take away yummy food, and learn cooking tidbits that will impress young and old alike.
These classes are open to ALL ages! To participate without a grownup, you must be at least 8 years old and up. We hope to see everyone: moms with preschoolers; dads connecting with daughters; teens with their friends; and adults looking to not make a mess in their kitchen! If you register by yourself, you may be paired up with a new friend!
Cost: $15 per person*.
Registration is required. Call 717-677-8412 or click here to REGISTER ONLINE. Space is limited!
