Learn how to wet felt a wool landscape picture! The picture will be suitable for framing or can be used as the face of a pillow cushion cover. Students will review some basic color theory and perspective lessons before diving into the wool. They will be taught how to shingle wool fibers into a smooth even layer, how to blend fiber to achieve a new color, how to wet, rub and roll to create a piece of felt.
If someone has a particular landscape they would like to translate, they should bring a photo with them for consideration.
Participants should wear comfortable clothes and shoes they won't mind getting a little wet. Sleeves that can be pushed up or rolled up are good, wide floppy sleeves are not recommended.
