Free Mt. Tabor Walking Tour

Learn more about Mt. Tabor AME Zion during this free walking tour. Hear the history and see the amazing restoration that has been completed on this former church. Also included in this walking tour is a tour of the nearby cemetery, which is the final resting place of seven (7) African American Civil War veterans. Even if you have attended a previous tour, you will be amazed at the restoration work that has been accomplished. Mt. Tabor and the cemetery are listed on the Preservation PA at Risk List, the Cumberland County Register of Historic Places, and the National Register of Historic Places.

The tours take place rain or shine and include some walking.
