Join the Penn State Master Gardeners of Cumberland County for Gardening with Nature: Plant a Pollinator Container and learn about creating a beautiful garden while preserving a healthy environment. Families with youth ages 6-12 are invited to attend this hands-on workshop to plant a pollinator container garden. Families will learn about pollinators and the best plants for attracting butterflies and other pollinating insects to where they live.
Each youth will create their own pollinator container garden with a 14-inch container, potting soil, and a set of nectar and larval host plants including parsley, pentas, lantana, and other flowering annuals and herbs.

A parent or guardian is required to attend with the youth for the duration of the workshop.
Preregistration is required. No walk-ins are accepted.
