Iron Bridge Music Festival
The Iron Bridge Music Festival is a celebration of all things music for all ages. This FREE event will be hosted in New Cumberland's community park, nestled beside the Yellow Breeches Creek, one of Pennsylvania's scenic waterways. This year's performers include a concert band, a country music performer, regional bands, and Grammy-winning national acts.
Vendors representing music stores, repair shops, music teachers, music educators, music organizations, collectibles and memorabilia, instrument makers, music publishers, recording studios, photographers, and music videographers will be on hand. A finalized list will be available closer to the date of the event.
There will be food trucks because musicians and aficionados need to eat! You can bring in food and drinks, but no grills, please. The Borough Park is alcohol-free. There will also be fun activities for the whole family.
Parking is free within the park or within short walking distance. Staff will be available to guide the parking. There will be a special area for bicycles.
The festival will commence with a Saturday evening (August 28) performance by the award-winning a cappella ensemble, The Trills, from Baltimore, MD. They will be singing in the sanctuary of Baughman U.M. Church, 3rd and Bridge Streets, New Cumberland from 7:30-9:00. Doors will open at 7:00. The performance is FREE.
Sunday, August 29, is the main day of the event. The grounds will open at 11:00 with the first performance at noon. Be sure to bring your lawn chair or blanket, as seating will NOT be provided. There will be an area for pop-up canopies (no tents). If you bring a canopy, please stay in the designated area.
