Description:
Join us for Juneteenth HBG 2025, a vibrant weeklong celebration honoring Black freedom, culture, and community in Pennsylvania’s capital. Presented by the Young Professionals of Color – Greater Harrisburg (YPOC) and the City of Harrisburg, this year’s festival features the inaugural Juneteenth Parade, dynamic concerts, educational summits, and family-friendly events that highlight Black excellence and resilience.

Signature Events:
• June 14: First-Ever Juneteenth Parade
Kick off the festivities with a historic parade through downtown Harrisburg, showcasing marching bands, dance teams, and community organizations. 
• June 16: Vibe Check Tailgate
Enjoy live music, food, and games at Hershey Stadium before the Kendrick Lamar and SZA concert. 
• June 17: Press Conference & VIP Reception
Engage with community leaders and sponsors during a morning press conference at the Pennsylvania State Capitol Atrium, followed by an evening VIP reception. 
• June 18: Juneteenth HBG Summit
Participate in a full day of interactive discussions on Black history, homeownership, health and wellness, business, and community empowerment at Harrisburg University. The evening features a keynote address by Congressman Al Green. 
• June 19: Juneteenth Jubilee
Celebrate with a family-friendly festival at Soldiers and Sailors Grove, featuring live performances, food vendors, and community resources.
• June 20: Taste of Black Harrisburg @ SOMA
Savor the flavors of Black Harrisburg at this food and culture celebration, highlighting local Black chefs and restaurants. 
• June 21: Juneteenth HBG Concert
Conclude the week with a high-energy concert at HMAC, headlined by the legendary Jadakiss. 

Join us in Harrisburg for a week of empowerment, education, and celebration as we honor the legacy of Juneteenth and the ongoing journey toward freedom and equality.
