On October 13, 2024, Trindle Spring Lutheran Church will host the Mendelssohn Piano Trio as part of their Music in the Spring series. The ensemble will perform works showcasing Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, and Korngold in a program titled "Portraits of the Artist as a Young Man."
The Mendelssohn Piano Trio, formed in 1997, has an extensive repertoire, including over 100 works from all time periods. Their performances have been described by critics and audiences as "technically immaculate," "unusually emotional," and "unfathomably beautiful."
This performance is the opening concert for the third season of the Music at the Spring concert series, hosted by Trindle Spring Lutheran Church. The series aims to provide the local community with quality musical performances that they might otherwise not be able to experience due to distance, cost, or accessibility.
The concerts in this series are all free and open to the public. Donations to the series fund are accepted at the concert.
