Newburg Memorial Day Observance & Parade

The Newburg Memorial Day Committee will hold its annual Memorial Day Observance with a morning worship service at 10:45 a.m. on Monument Green. A rifle salute will take place at Newburg First Church of God Cemetery at 1:15 p.m. The annual Memorial Day Parade will move through town promptly at 2:00 p.m. A 21-gun salute will take place after the parade.

Guest Speaker: Kirby E. Kiefer, U.S. Air Force Captain
Directions: First Church of God Cemetery, Exchange St, Newburg
​​​Inclement Weather: Parade will be canceled. A memorial service will be held at the Newburg UM Church, 203 N High St
