Find great plants at great prices on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the annual Plant Fest and Sale hosted by the Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Cumberland County.
The annual Plant Fest and Sale runs from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine, at the Cumberland County Service Center, 310 Allen Road, Carlisle, PA, 17013. It is easy to find, just off Exit 44 of I-81 on Allen Road (Rt. 465) across from the Sheetz, with plenty of parking available. Look for the big tents on the lawn next to the Cumberland County Service Center building, where the Penn State Extension office is located.
Penn State Master Gardeners will be offering great prices on native plants from area growers and treasured plants from their own gardens, as well as sun and shade perennials, pollinator-friendly plants, herbs, vegetables, ground covers, shrubs, and small trees. There will also be a gardener’s yard sale, youth gardening activity station, a plant clinic to answer your garden questions, local community organizations and vendors, as well as educational resources about the Spotted Lanternfly, native plants, pollinators, how to become a Penn State Master Gardener, and more!
Plan to arrive early for the best selection. Cash, check, and Visa/MasterCard credit and debit cards will be accepted in separate lines. Proceeds benefit the Penn State Master Gardener program in Cumberland County. Get your spring planting off to a great start by coming to Plant Fest!
