Create your own naturally dyed yarn! Hand dye 2 skeins of worsted or bulky weight yarn (15% alpaca, 85% wool). We will create 2 colors: blue using a synthetic indigo vat and golden yellow with locally grown marigolds. Each skein is 100 grams and about 140 yards for worsted weight and 92 yards for bulky weight, the perfect amount for a hat or pair of mittens. You’ll also indigo dye a cotton bandana while waiting for our yarn to dye.
