This is a free, daily event to attend, happening from January 25, 2025, through February 2, 2025. Registration is required for most workshops.

- Make this season extra special for someone! When you round up your purchase total $3, you gift a plant to a local nursing home.

Saturday, January 25th
- Kids Planting Station
- All Day - FREE. No registration required
- Kids can enjoy decorating a small jar and potting their plant! One per child, children only (with adult assistance if needed).
- Herbal Kitchen Wreath
- 11 a.m. - $20
- Create the perfect kitchen decoration that provides fragrant culinary herbs for your favorite recipes! The base is lavender and rosemary, with the addition of other herbs.
- Nursery Chat
- 1 p.m. - FREE. No registration required
- Come with your green thumb questions and chat with our nursery managers, Scott and Jen!
Sunday, January 26
- Growing Orchids
- 1 p.m. - $40
- We understand that growing orchids can seem daunting. Learn the basics of growing orchids in your home in this informative class! Each person will receive their very own orchid.
Saturday, February 1
- Veggie Garden Series
- 10:30 a.m. - $5
- In the first session of a three-part series, learn about and plan your garden for the 2025 season with Production Manager Amber. Each session has a theme/focus. You do not need to attend all three.
- Macramé Air Plant Hanger
- 11 a.m. - $15
- Learn the basics of macramé and air plants with this beginner-friendly class. Make and take your creation and an air plant to go with it.
- Pressed Flower Cards
- 12 p.m. - $15
- Join Jen Vogelsong of Bits of Glory Pressed Flower Creations in creating two cards with pressed flowers, perfect timing for Valentine's Day!
- Succulent Propagation Class
- 12:30 p.m. - FREE
- Learn about succulent propagation and what to do with leggy succulents with Production Manager Amber. Includes a tour of the greenhouse. Sign-up is still required as space is limited.
- Macramé Plant Hanger
- 2 p.m. - $25
- Create a macramé plant hanger in this beginner-friendly class. Make and take your hanger plus a plant with a pot.
Sunday, February 2
- Pansy Tour and Pressing
- 10:30 a.m. - $10
- Tour our pansy greenhouse and press pansies with our Production Manager Amber! Make and take your very own pressing book to use for spring pansies.
- Herb Tour & Planter
- 1 p.m. - $35
- Learn how we grow our herbs here at Ashcombe on a tour of our herb house with Production Manager Amber. Plus, plant your own 12-inch mixed planter with our homegrown herbs!
