Plein Air Pen & Ink Drawing Workshop
Teacher: Kim Stone
Grab your favorite sketchbook and join me for a day of sketching outside in the fresh air. Recently, students have requested a workshop with felt tip pens on paper, so this will be our main focus. You may also bring another medium if you prefer, but the instructor will demonstrate with pens. The instructor will have pens on hand for you to try and you can also bring your own sets. It is also recommend to bring a folding chair, sunscreen, and a hat.
The class will go to one or two places during the day and attempt to stay in the shade. Some experience in drawing is helpful. Along with a bag lunch, please bring water in a reusable water bottle. There will be extra water on hand. Everyone will be contacted as to the meeting location on the front steps of the Trout Gallery on Dickinson's campus. A sketchbook and a couple of pens are easy and fun to take along on vacations to document good times, and this class will create more proficiency to that end.
