Reverón Piano Trio
Dickinson’s artists-in-residence, Reverón Piano Trio, will perform a concert featuring music from Brazil, Argentina and Spain on Sunday, Oct. 13, at 4 p.m.in Rubendall Recital Hall, Weiss Center for the Arts, 240 W. High St. The performance is free and open to the public.
The all-Venezuelan trio will share underrepresented chamber music from Latin America, alongside classical repertoire and modern compositions. The trio is made up of Simón Gollo (violin), Ana Maria Otamendi (piano) and Horacio Contreras (cello), who seek to enhance multicultural understanding and increase the visibility of Venezuelan modernist artist Armando Reverón (1899-1954), the trio’s namesake.
