The Joint Veterans Council of Shippensburg will hold its annual Memorial Day ceremonies and parade on Monday, May 29, beginning at 10 am at Locust Grove Cemetery (200 Ott Rd.), followed by services at Spring Hill Cemetery (114 N. Morris St.) at 11 am, and a flag-raising ceremony at Shippensburg Veterans Memorial Park (Park Pl.) at noon. At 1:15 pm, the Navy & Marine Memorial Services will be conducted at Brand Bridge on King Street.
The Memorial Day Parade begins at 2 pm from the corner of King and Prince Streets.
In the event of inclement weather, each unit returns to the post involved for refreshments and fellowship.
