The Squirrel Away 5k will be in person and socially distanced. In order to hold the race in a responsible way because of the Covid-19 pandemic the 5k run will have a limited field size with 1/2 hour time slots and a maximum of 30 per 1/2 hour, 210 total runners max. New time slots will be added as the time slots fill up. Please try to pick up your bib number and start your run in that 1/2 hour. Each runner will start one at a time as they are ready and awards will be based on your chip time.

No same-day registrations will be accepted. Everyone must pre-register for a half hour time slot.

The 5k course is out and back on the Cumberland Valley Rail-Trail starting at the Shippensburg Township Park.

We will not be holding an awards ceremony after the race. If you are around after the last runner finishes you may pick up your award. Awards not picked up will be mailed.
