Celebrate the 300th anniversary of J.S. Bach’s stunning “St. John Passion” with Messiah’s Chamber Singers, the Schola Sancti Gregorii from St. Lawrence Cathedral, and orchestra. This emotive setting of the passion story illuminates Jesus’ humanity and divinity through Bach’s genius writing and devout theological convictions. Compositional symmetry, symbolism, complex harmonies, poignant chorale settings, and passionate performers narrate the most profound story ever told.
