MARKET SQUARE CONCERTS presents an annual “Stuart and Friends” program featuring maestro Malina at the piano joined by violinist Alexander Kerr, concertmaster of the Dallas Symphony; as well as violist Michael Isaac Strauss; cellist Julian Schwarz; and violinist Peter Sirotin. Zev Malina will perform his own composition as part of our (YAP) Young Artists Program.
The program includes Zev Malina: Schemin' an homage to Zez Confrey; Mozart: Sonata for Piano and Violin in B-flat Major, KV. 454; Ernest Bloch: Suite Hébraïque for Viola and Piano; Erich Wolfgang Korngold: Much Ado About Nothing Suite arrange for Cello and Piano by Julian Schwarz, and Piano Quintet in E Major, Op. 15.
