Sunset Double Decker Tours of Gettysburg Battlefield

Overview
Locations

See the Gettysburg Battlefield in a new light with the addition of seasonal Sunset Tours on board a double decker bus. Learn from highly trained and engaging licensed battlefield guides, as they provide content and context about what has been described “as the most dramatic, violent and fateful experience in American history.”

Tours start at the Visitor Center and take 2 ½ hours. Visitors will depart the bus in several key areas, such as Little Roundtop, where guides will relate the experiences of the brave men who battled there. Guides will also point out the magnificent monuments found on the battlefield, created in tribute by their respective home states. Also featured, is The Soldiers’ National Cemetery, where President Abraham Lincoln gave his poignant Gettysburg Address.

The Sunset Tours begin September 17 and continue Saturdays through October.
