What in the world was Dan Sickles thinking on July 2 when he deployed the 3rd Corps of the Union army in the controversial way that he did?

Historian, and Gettysburg National Military Park Ranger, Chuck Teague, will take a deeper look into the actions by General Sickles on the second day of the battle of Gettysburg.

Join the Gettysburg Heritage Center as we take a unique look at the Civil War, the people, and their culture throughout the 2018 summer season! These special programs will showcase different aspects of Civil War life.

All programs are family friendly, and will be held in the Heritage Center Conference Room (unless otherwise noted)!

General admission is $10 per person, $6 ages 6-12, 5 & under are free.

It is recommended to purchase tickets in advance to secure seating.
