The One-Room Schoolhouses of the Mechanicsburg Area

Mr. William Murray holds a B.S. in History from West Chester University and an M.Ed. in History from Shippensburg University. He has been with the Mechanicsburg School District for over 50 years, serving as Archivist and Historian for the past 35 years. His role involves preserving public documents for historians, students, and community members while maintaining and expanding the collection. He is also a published author, with works including "The Creation and Early Years of Upper Allen Township, Pennsylvania" (2025) and "The One-Room Schoolhouses of the Mechanicsburg Area" (2019).
