Arthur Pepper, a recent widower, finds a charm bracelet that leads him on an adventure of self-discovery and awakening. The grieving process can take one on a journey to acceptance and new possibilities. Join us and Amanda Jernigan for a discussion on Arthur’s steps of grieving in the book, “The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper”.

Pennsylvania native, Amanda Jernigan has held many roles in the social work field since 1999. She relocated and lived in upstate New York for 10 years, and moved to Central Pennsylvania in 2009. She holds a certification as a forensic interviewer from the New York State Police and has testified in Court against alleged sexual predators. Upon completion of her master’s degree, Amanda held the role of inpatient psychiatric adolescent social worker until the hospital closed their mental health units. She then worked as a social worker in a K-12 School in upstate New York.
