In Celebration of International Women's Day, Ashley Gogoj will examine the meaningful work of Pittsburgh performing and visual artist, Vanessa German. German's intricate mixed-media sculptures symbolize the generational oppression that African Americans have endured as well as the power and the fragility of the human spirit.
In conjunction with the lecture, a community engaged art installation will be initiated. As always, snacks & beverages will be ever flowing.
