Water Races of Pine Grove Furnace

Andre Weltman, local historian and chairman of the Friends of Pine Grove Furnace, will speak about iron company waterwheels and water races. Many of the old water supply channels are still visible in or near Pine Grove Furnace State Park but are not recognized by visitors. The operation of the iron company’s water-powered grist mill will be featured.
