Join the Cumberland County Historical Society, the Newville Historical Society, and friends of Historic Heishman's Mill as we celebrate the Mill's acceptance to the National Register. Murray Small and Trip Wright from Whiskey America, Dill's Tavern, and the North York Historical Society will guide guests through a historical whiskey tasting. At the same time, we entertain with live music and great local food.

There will be an exceptional "Spirits of the Signers" seated program as a $20 add-on. We will be sampling the drinks that were consumed at the famous party after the signing of the Constitution, where "according to the bill, the Founding Fathers drank 54 bottles of Madeira, 60 bottles of Claret, 8 bottles of Whiskey, 22 bottles of Porter, 8 bottles of Hard Cider, 12 of Beer and seven bowls of Alcoholic Punch. There were only 55 attendees."
