Whiskey Rebellion Dinner and Concert Fundraiser
Help commemorate George Washington's visit to Carlisle in the summer of 1794 with an evening of music by David and Ginger Hildebrand. Music offers a wonderful view into the events and people involved in the Whiskey Rebellion – through songs written by John Dickinson (yes!), about Alexander Hamilton, and of course representing George Washington, David and Ginger Hildebrand will bring to life this amazing time when Carlisle hosted its President. Expect some drinking songs, some sing-alongs of course, accompanied by appropriate period instruments played by nationally renowned musicians who specialize in this period (and both lived in Carlisle as Dickinson students, too!). Help commemorate George Washington's visit to Carlisle in the summer of 1794, as we approach its 225th anniversary.
