Wicked Spooky Party
Children are invited to stroll store-to-store collecting candy, treats, and small prizes. Families and pets are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween best to participate in the "WSP Howl-o-ween Costume Contest." Prizes will be awarded for Best Pet Costume, Most-Likely-to-Be-Mistaken-as-a-Pet Costume for Child and Adult, Best-Dressed Family Costumes, Best Superhero, Spookiest, and more!
"We want to share our community spirit and offer a safe and fun Halloween experience for children of all ages," says Richard E. Jordan II, owner of the West Shore Plaza and Smith Land & Improvement Corporation CEO. "Our Plaza stores are thrilled to introduce our first-ever trick-or-treat event and excited to welcome Nancy Ryan of BOB 94.9 for a live broadcast and as our featured costume contest judge."
The West Shore Plaza will also participate in the Teal Pumpkin Project to raise awareness of food allergies and promote inclusion for all trick-or-treaters during the Halloween season. In addition to candy, non-food treats will be handed out at participating stores.
