Winter Lecture Series: Native Pollinators
Most people think of pollination as an example of cooperation between plants and animals, but even though plants and the animals that pollinate them may be completely dependent on each other, they have different goals. Mike Slater, President of the Entomological Society of Pennsylvania, will present a photographic exploration of the diversity of relationships between pollinating animals, especially insects, and the plants they rely on. Saying "it's complicated" is an understatement! Pre-registration is not required.
