Woodturning: Beyond the Basics

Woodturning: Beyond the Basics

Overview
Locations

Instructor: Ted Rasmussen

Skill Level: Intermediate with recent woodturning experience a plus.

Ready for a more challenging experience in woodturning? Go beyond the basics with this class as you learn how to sketch a design and then turn a slender weed vase and a delicate toothpick chalice. These pieces will require good tool control and a steady hand as you pare the stems down to 3/16th of an inch. Both pieces will make excellent gifts and will add significantly to your woodturning skills.

All materials needed are included in the tuition. If you have your own safety glasses, smock, and turning tools please bring them along!
