details

This 3,452-acre state park is built on land that once was the Mary Ann Furnace.  Built in 1762, the furnace supplied cannon balls for the continental army.  Although no remains of the furnace remain, visitors can still enjoy the 1,275-acre Lake Marburg which offers opportunities for boating, mooring, fishing and scuba diving along the 26-mile shoreline.  This is also a popular spot for bird watchers, swimmers, picnickers and campers.
