Owned and operated by two volunteer firefighters, Hook and Flask Still Works is located in an older building that has been remodeled to look like a old firehouse. The interior design also includes elements that pay homage to firefighters. Patron are able to glimpse the stills as well as a 19-foot tall vodka column.
Carlisle's first craft distillery focuses on using local grains as much as possible and uses a distillation method that produces crisp, clean, and silky smooth spirits. The distillery also offers other Pennsylvania-based spirits and serves wine and craft brews from several local Carlisle breweries including Molly Pitcher Brewing Co. and and Desperate Times.
The menu features appetizers, sides and sliders. Brunch is offered on Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm and on all day on Sunday.
