Begin with the Film, Cyclorama & Museum Experience. 

  • Set the Scene: The film "A New Birth of Freedom" provides the backdrop for your visit.
  • Feel the Fury: Sense Pickett's Charge all around you in the light and sound show of the iconic Gettysburg Cyclorama.
  • Share the Journey: Journey through the events and issues surrounding the Civil War and the Battle of Gettysburg in the Gettysburg Museum of the American Civil War.

Tour the Battlefield: Enhance your group visit with a bus tour of the battlefield with a Licensed Battlefield Guide. Step onto the hallowed ground and enrich your experience as your bus makes stops at some of the battlefield's most iconic locaitons.

Take some time to shop and dine at the Museum & Visitor Center.

  • Dine in at the Refreshment Saloon, modeled after an actual Civil War-era saloon,. Groups can take advantage of convenient dining options including group breakfasts, dinners, and boxed meals.

Enjoy special group programs. Take your group close up and behind-the-scenes with Gettysburg Cyclorama: Illuminated for an exclusive after-hours look at the iconic Battle of Gettysburg Cyclorama. This memorable program provides a rare look at the historic painting-in-the-round and its immersive depiction of Pickett's Charge.

While in Gettysburg, plan to visit these historic sties with your group:

  • Groups can board the shuttle bus to visit President Dwight and First Lady Mamie Eisenhower's weekend retreat and retirement home at the Eisenhower National Historic Site.
  • Groups can tour the David Wills House, a National Park Service musuem, where President Lincoln stayed prior to delivering his Gettysburg Address.
