The Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Park in Mechanicsburg is a community park featuring a nature trail, bird watching and a public swimming pool.
Amenities include 2 Pavilions, Picnic Tables, Playground, Restrooms, Benches, Parking, Wheel Chair Accessible, and a Hike/Bike Trail. Please contact Mechanicsburg Borough for information on renting the pavilions.
Sports: This community park features baseball, softball and football fields for student and family sporting events. The John H. Frederick Field features artificial turf and includes an 8,000-seat stadium. A capital campaign is underway for renovations to the field and stadium as well as the addition of a new field house.
