A New York inspired breakfast and lunch sandwich shop in the heart of downtown Carlisle.

The cafe is situated in the home of John Hays, a Civil War soldier who purchased the home from his uncle in 1876. The owners have refinished the original wood floors, exposed and repointed the original exterior stone house walls found behind the interior drywall, rebuilt the outside patio , and preserved as much of the original home that we found as demolition took place.

The menu includes breakfast and lunch sandwiches, homemade baked goods as well a selection of pastries from the Pennsylvania Bakery, and real New York hand-rolled, kettle-boiled & baked bagels from Davidovich Bakery in Woodside, NY plus an awesome homemade cream cheese varieties.
