One of the area's premier suri alpaca farms, Thunder River Alpaca Company is involved with every aspect of the alpaca industry including breeding, stud services, boarding, sales, financing, fiber and alpaca clothing and accessories.
The husband and wife time of Dennis and Rose are actively engaged in the fiber and alpaca industry. They are members of the Alpaca Owners Association, the Suri Network, the Alpaca Registry, the Pennsylvania Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association, and the Mid-Atlantic Alpaca Association. They hold several special events throughout the year including classes, the Annual Shearing Festival, and National Alpaca Farm Days.
The Farm Store offers a variety of alpaca items including socks, scarves, hats, gloves, throws, hand-felted soap, sweaters, t-shirts, and children's items. Our yarns, raw fleece and roving come from the alpacas raised in the natural environment on our farm. Visit our website to see items available for sale or make an appointment to stop by.
