This 54-acre nature preserve along the Conodoguinet Creek serves as a natural habitat. It features meadows and wetlands and provides creek access for kayaking or fishing. The ponds are also available for fishing. There is an almost 2-mile outer loop trail or a shorter one-mile inner loop trail, with easily identified trail markers, for walking, hiking and biking. No dogs are permitted.
There is an area along the outer loop trail where you can see Bald Eagles Nesting. Please do not disturb the birds.
The park is named after former Silver Spring Township Supervisor and current Cumberland County Commissioner Vincent DiFilippo, who initiated a grassroots effort to protect and preserve land in Silver Spring Township.
