Willow Park in downtown Camp Hill features a nature preserve, picnic tables, pavilions, stream access, bird watching, gazebos, gardens, benches, and a hiking and biking trail. The Park also features the "Sixteeners" monument to recognize "graduates" of the Soldiers' Orphans' School located in Camp Hill following the Civil War. The alumni group erected the small obelisk around 1926.
Historic Marker: A marker for the Cumberland Riflemen reads "Capt. William Hendricks led from nearby Cumberland County points a company of riflemen to Quebec, Canada. There they fought Dec. 31, 1775, at the side of Gen. Richard Montgomery. Hendricks was killed in action."
Trail Info: The Goddard Trail connects several parks in Camp Hill including Siebert Park, Willow Park, Spring Lake Park and Fiala Field. Trail maps are available at the Borough Office.
