Hayman Pro Rodeo, a PRCA sanctioned rodeo, will be featuring their second rodeo on Friday, May 27, 2011. Doors open at 5:00 pm and the rodeo begins at 7:00 pm. This event will feature "The Not Guilty Band," at 5:00 pm, along with popular food vendors, pony rides, hay maze, petting zoo, and other activities for children. The Cumberland County 4H will be selling drinks and all of the proceeds go to their organization.
The excitement of this year's rodeo will include bareback Bronc riding, Saddle Bronc riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping, Cowgirls' barrel racing, Cowgirls' breakaway roping and bull riding. Advance tickets will be sold at Knisely's Pet & Farm Center, 1025 Ritner Highway, Carlisle, and online at www.haymanfarms.com. Advanced tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children, (kids 3 and under are free). $2 from each advanced ticket sold from Knisely's goes to the Cumberland Valley Future for Agriculture (FFA). Tickets at the door, or sold on the day of the rodeo, will be $14 for adults and $10 for children (kids 3 and under are free.Hayman Pro Rodeo is supported by the Cumberland Valley Visitors Bureau to promote agri-entertainment and Cumberland Valley as a tourist destination.
