LeTort Regional Authority – $300 – Analyzation of trail usage based on sensor counts of visitors on the trail in Fall 2015.

New Cumberland Old Town Association Business & Professional Group – $1,200 – Creation of a two minute video promoting New Cumberland.

Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Museum Association – $795 – Directional sign for the museum.

TCO Fly Shop – $25,000 – Restoration upgrades of Yellow Breeches Outfitters to restore building in historically appropriate manner, including siding, flooring and roofing.

Uprise Events Live – $4,500 – Advertising for 2016 Uprise festival.

West Shore Symphony Orchestra – $1,500 – Purchase of mailing list and post card printing to distribute 2016 season information.

Whistlestop Bookshop – $500 – Four shark fin banners to welcome targeted visitors (War College Students, Dickinson Students, Central Penn Youth Ballet Students and First Friday visitors) to the store.

2014 Tourism Sales & Marketing Grants

Appalachian Trail Conservancy – $10,000 – Installation of new kiosk to match surrounding streetscape and printing of seven brochures  to distribute at kiosks and events.

Appalachian Trail Museum Society – $18,000 – Retrofit basement of A.T. Museum for museum use and create and install displays for youth activities.

Audubon Pennsylvania – $1,031 – Professionally design and print a South Mountain Birding brochure.

Carlisle Arts Learning Center – $2,315 – Enhance S.E.E. Art Salon program by installing building sign; purchasing a projector, screen and folding chairs; and purchasing sidewalk signs.

Central Pennsylvania Conservancy – $1,000 – Install addition to existing sign to designate the Ironmaster’s Mansion as a hostel and event facility and reprint 5,000 promotional brochures.

Cumberland County Historical Society – $14,000 – Pave rear parking lot to make commute between Visitor Center and Historical Society safer; increase available parking including an ADA space and two Visitor Center spaces; and enhance space to allow for hosting events in parking lot.

Cumberland Valley Appalachian Trail Club – $500 – Update and print brochures, print contact cards and update photos for display board in efforts to gain new volunteers to maintain the A.T.

Cumberland Valley Rail Trail – $8,404 – Install two new trail kiosks, warning, interpretive and wayfinding signage, and print 1,000 brochures. Matching funds provided by South Mountain Partnership Mini Grant.

Downtown Carlisle Association – $9,000 – Creation of 28 Welcome to Carlisle banners for use on car show weekends, advertising for Harvest of the Arts through flyers, posters and radio placement.

2013 Tourism Sales & Marketing Grants

Camp Curtin Historical Society – Install five Civil War Wayside Markers in Camp Hill and Mechanicsburg, and update an accompanying self-guided brochure.

Cumberland County Planning Department – Working with the Yellow Breeches Watershed Association, updating and reprinting the very popular Yellow Breeches Creek Water Trail brochure.

Cumberland Valley Bed & Breakfast Association – Update the CVBBA website to simplify content and blog updates, integrate better mapping and make the site mobile-friendly.

Downtown Carlisle Association – Advertise downtown events in Baltimore, MD and Philadelphia, PA using Google AdWords.

Downtown Mechanicsburg Partnership – Update and reprint downtown brochures, design and manufacture “Open” flags and event posters.

Friends of Opossum Lake Conservancy – Design and print new posters for the three kiosks surrounding the lake.

Roundtop Mountain Resort – Working with the Courtyard by Marriott, promote ski/snowboard overnight packages via Google AdWords and Facebook advertising to young families in the Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. markets.

Shippensburg Area Chamber of Commerce – Design and print “About Our Town” Brochures, downtown pole banners and install signs outside of the Chamber Office.

Appalachian Trail Conservancy – Install interpretive signage and displays in the Visitor Information Center in Boiling Springs.

Boiling Spring Civic Association – Update and print the “A Walk Around Boiling Springs” historical, self-guided walking tour brochure.

Camp Hill Economic Development Group – Advertising for the Plein Air Arts Festival in the Baltimore MD and Washington D.C. DMAs.

Carlisle Events – Develop a marketing campaign, including landing page, in the Baltimore MD DMA encouraging visitors to take specially crafted road trips to Bike Fest, as well as to provide day trips once they are in Cumberland Valley to encourage extended stays.

Central Pennsylvania Conservancy – Design and print three informational brochures to promote the use of the Ironmaster’s Mansion for weddings, youth groups and general purposes.

Cumberland County Planning Department – Update and print Simply Moving brochure which includes all municipal parks and trails in Cumberland and Perry counties.

Shippensburg University – Install branded brochure racks in the Conference Center at Shippensburg University to provide Cumberland Valley information to conference attendees.

Timber Hill Technologies – Group various running races in Cumberland Valley into the Cumberland Valley Race Series to increase repeat visitation from participants.

Mid-Atlantic Appalachian Trail Conservancy – Create and install three informational posters along the Appalachian Trail in Cumberland Valley.

Audubon Pennsylvania – Create educational materials, including a self-guided tour brochure, for group use at Waggoner’s Gap Hawk Watch.

Borough of Carlisle – Create brochure map promoting the new Carlisle Borough Bike and Pedestrian Trail.

Downtown Carlisle Association –  Create and define quadrants in downtown Carlisle using color-coded flag banners that will associate with Downtown Carlisle Association’s annual brochure.

LeTort Regional Authority – Install four interpretive signs along the LeTort Spring walking trail.

Mountain Lakes Market – Install new sign for the market and place directional signage to the market.

Perry County Council of the Arts – Update and print Rt. 15 ByWay of the Arts trail guides.

Shippensburg D.O.I.T. – Create a Civil War themed mural in downtown Shippensburg that will eventually become part of a mural trail.
