Tourism Sales & Marketing Grant

Program Suspended Until Further Notice

Since 2010, the Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation (CAEDC) has provided 176 grant awards to partners totaling over $804,000, with a total economic impact in the Cumberland Valley surpassing $1.8 million. These awards ranged from $500 - $25,000 to increase travel to Cumberland Valley or to enhance the visitor experience. Projects included advertising, collateral printing and distribution, professional services, tradeshow registration and asset development.

Due to decreased funding streams caused by restricted travel conditions surrounding COVID-19, the Tourism Sales & Marketing Grant Program has been paused. CAEDC remains optimistic that tourism grant programs will reopen to partner applicants in the future.

If you have questions about the program or need guidance on an open Tourism Sales & Marketing Grant please contact Ashley Kurtz at 717-240-7192 or akurtz@visitcumberlandvalley.com.

“We were able to attend this event [PASAE Expo] last year, due to a MMAP grant. We saw immediate results with 3 new organizations bringing their meetings to our area. Our hotels were able to host their guests and several meetings. Over the past 6 months we have continued to see interest from contacts made at this event.” – Mardell Knepper, Sales Manager, Hotels of Rossmoyne.
