The staff's primary responsibility is to promote Cumberland Valley as a travel destination, increase visitation, and enhance the visitor experience.

Janet Anderson Executive Director

Janet Anderson comes to CAEDC with 36 years of experience in business development, grant administration, account management, and strategic planning from organizations like the PA Department of Labor and Industry, Northwest PA Regional Planning & Development Commission, PA Department of Community and Economic Development, the office of former State Senator Jane Earll, Gannon University Small Business Development Center, and most recently at Partners for Performance.
Patrick Bourque Destination Sales Manager

Patrick Bourque joined our team in March, 2020 bringing over 6 years of destination sales experience with him. A resident of York County and a graduate from York College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management, Patrick will be overseeing Meeting, Sports and Group Sales for the Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation.
Stacey Cornman Content Marketing Manager

Stacey Cornman is a resident of Cumberland Valley and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Dickinson College. She has over 20 years of experience in printing and publishing. As the Content Marketing Manager, she handles the distribution and fulfillment of visitor guides and other printed collateral; oversees the Cumberland Valley Visitors Center; manages content planning, writing, and maintenance for the website and printed collateral; develops and distributes the monthly visitor and events e-newsletters; and supports SEO and CRO strategies. Stacey joined CAEDC in January 2011.
Laura Delaney Director of Tourism and Marketing

Laura brings over 15 years of experience in marketing, with deep expertise in strategic planning, media buying, and brand development. Her career spans a diverse range of industries, including nonprofit, higher education, consumer packaged goods (CPG), real estate, and small business. As the Director of Tourism & Marketing, she is responsible for the development of impactful initiatives that drive growth and engagement for the organization's key programs and services. Laura holds a Bachelor's in Corporate Communication from Penn State University and an MBA in Organizational Management from Eastern University.
Doreen Edwards Executive Assistant

Doreen Edwards joined the CAEDC team in February 2024 and as the Executive Assistant supports CAEDC’s day to day operations as well as CAEDC Board and Committee functions. She holds an associate’s degree from the Penn State University and brings exceptional experience from her 33 years as an Executive Assistant and Assistant Board Secretary for the PA Gaming Control Board and PHEAA/AES Board of Directors. In addition to her exceptional work ethic, she is always ready to greet visitors with a warm smile in our Mechanicsburg office, further making her an integral part of the CAEDC team.
Rafael Hernandez Advertising & Brand Manager

Rafael Hernandez is a resident of York County and a graduate from Pennsylvania College of Art and Design. He has over 20 years of experience in graphic design. As the Advertising & Brand Manager, he is responsible for all Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation's advertising, creative design and website management. He has been with the CAEDC since October of 2008.
Lauren Hostetter Marketing & Engagement Manager

Lauren Hostetter is a 2008 graduate from Shippensburg University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. As the Marketing & Engagement Manager she is responsible for providing marketing support and coordinating events for all segments of Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation’s tourism and economic development initiatives and programs. Lauren joined CAEDC in August 2017.
Aaron Jumper Communications Manager

Aaron Jumper is a 2012 graduate of Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication. He comes from a background of television and social media, and served in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Aaron's role as Communications Manager includes social media initiatives, developing online content, and developing and implementing the travel media plan. He joined Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation in April 2014.
Julie Koranda Human Resources/Finance Manager

Cumberland Valley resident, Julie Koranda, joined our team in April 2024 and supports CAEDC operations as the Human Resources/Accounting Specialist. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University, in addition to an M.B.A from Kutztown University. With 10 years of bookkeeping/administrative experience with small businesses and local government, in addition to 10 years of real estate experience, she brings a variety of relevant knowledge to the CAEDC team.
Ashley Kurtz Tourism Development Manager

Ashley Kurtz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Central Penn College and has over fifteen years of marketing experience. Joining CAEDC in 2008, she drives Cumberland Valley tourism development through Tourism Grant development and administration, cultivating partnerships with key tourism stakeholders, and overseeing research projects and data sources that inform tourism marketing efforts. Ashley is a 2016 graduate, current Board Member and Curriculum Committee Chair for Leadership Cumberland.
Griffin Means Economic Development Specialist

Griffin is a 2023 graduate of Messiah University and joined CAEDC in 2024 as the Economic Development Specialist. He assesses the needs of new and existing businesses to recommend financing options and collaborates with commercial lenders to support private capital with public financing.

Alyssa Smith Grants Manager

Alyssa was born and raised in Cumberland County, where she’s spent most of her life, only briefly stepping away to attend college in Philadelphia, PA. She earned her degree in culinary arts, which has fueled her passion for food and hospitality. Alyssa has an extensive background in project management and compliance with several financing and funding sources. For the past 9 years she has worked in real estate lending, across numerous states with varying requirements.
Greg Welker Economic Development Director

Greg joins CAEDC after spending nine years at Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), most recently serving in the role of Director of Commonwealth Financing Authority Programs Division. As the Economic Development Director, Greg will create and implement strategies to grow Cumberland County to include business expansion, retention and attraction. Other responsibilities include supporting CAEDC’s redevelopment and reuse strategy through the Real Estate Collaborative (REC), oversight of CAEDC’s workforce initiative for the retention of local businesses and prospective business relocation, and leveraging of public funding programs and solutions to aid Cumberland County business growth.
