In 2025, Fastnacht Day is celebrated on Tuesday, March 4. The holiday, also known as Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras, or Shrove Tuesday, originated in Germany and is a Pennsylvania Dutch celebration held on the day before Ash Wednesday, which marks the start of the Lenten season. As a tradition, Germans indulge in these delicious doughnuts before the Lenten Fast.

Call (717) 218-5258 with pre-orders during business hours (Tuesday-Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, and Saturday, 8 am to 2 pm). Order a half-dozen or dozen of unfilled or butter-cream filled in plain, powdered, glazed, or cinnamon sugar. Orders are due by 2 pm on Saturday, March 1.

6-packs of fastnachts are available at the store while supplies last. $5.99 each/6. No pre-orders.
Cornerstone Coffeehouse, Camp Hill

You can choose from a variety of options, including a Fastnacht Cupcake. The cost is $18.95/dozen. A Mardi Gras King Cake is also available. Pre-order online.

Open from 6 am to 6 pm on Monday, March 3, with fastnachts available beginning at noon. Open from 5 am to 5 pm on Tuesday, March 4, with fastnachts available all day. Whether you like them powdered, glazed, sugared, cinnamon sugared, or plain, Dough n Joe has you covered. Pre-order online or in-store, but plenty will be available for walk-in customers.
