In 2024, Fastnacht Day is celebrated on Tuesday, February 13th. The holiday, also known as Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras, or Shrove Tuesday, originated in Germany and is a Pennsylvania Dutch celebration held on the day before Ash Wednesday, which marks the start of the Lenten season.
