Two active wildfires—Thompson Hollow Fire and Hammonds Rocks Fire—are currently burning in Michaux State Forest in Cumberland County. As crews continue to make progress containing the wildfires, all roads related to the Hammonds Rocks Fire have reopened to traffic. For the Thompson Hollow Fire, Three Turn Road and Thompson Hollow Road remain limited to residential traffic only. All other roads previously closed have reopened.

Cocoa Kayak is a family-owned business that operates on the beautiful, tree-lined Swatara Creek, located close to Hershey, PA. We offer kayak rentals and transportation to and from the creek's various access points. Both guided and unguided trips are available. Trips range from 1 to 3 hours in duration.

Reservations are strongly encouraged. If you require an experienced kayak guide, you must indicate that when you make your reservation. All rentals include boat, paddle, life vest (PFD), whistle and basic instructions.

Husband and wife owners, Ben and Debra, are members of the Swatara Watershed Association. Their goal is to provide safe and memorable outdoor experiences while promoting an active lifestyle.
