Step back in time when you enter through the front doors of this old-fashioned ice cream parlor. Originally opening as a pharmacy in 1879, this historic building offers old-fashioned charm and was featured in the movie Girl, Interrupted. Now serving PA Preferred Hershey Creamery ice cream, ice cream sodas, sundaes, banana splits, milk shakes, floats, hot dogs, sandwiches, soup and penny candy. The original soda fountain and marble counter remain, as do the wooden tables and glass shelving. A small pharmacy museum in the back of the building offers an extra bit of nostalgia.
