details

The Hampden Township Veterans Park recognizes and honors all veterans of all services who have served, or who are serving our Nation. The Hampden Township Veterans Recognition Committee, in concert with Hampden Township, is developing the park.

Currently, the park includes 12 points of remembrance recounting the military history of the United States, an amphitheater concept centered on the American flag and the flags of the military branches, a ceremonial burn pit (permit required), a flag drop-box and numerous benches and plaques.

Leashed dogs are allowed in the park.

There is a roughly .25 mile nature trail at the park, with plans for a walking trail in development.

Visit the Hampden Township Veterans Recognition Committee on Facebook to find events taking place in the park. https://www.facebook.com/HampdenTownshipVeteransPark/
