The 1-mile Locust Point Trail loops off from the Boundary Trail in Kings Gap Environmental Education Center, travels through a clearing created by fallen, dead locust trees that offers a view of Kings Gap Hollow.
To access this trail, park at the Pump House Parking lot. You will hike on Boundary Trail for .3 mile before veering off on Locust Point Trail. The overlook is located around the .5 mile mark on this trail. Locust Point is a very narrow trail that can be easily lost - pay close attention.
