Enjoy an 11 mile round-trip train ride along the Swatara Creek aboard our 1920′s vintage, Delaware, Lackawanna & Western coaches.  Board at our 1891 Freight Station in Middletown, Pennsylvania or just browse the gift shop. 

The train follows the towpath of the historic Union Canal and alongside the peaceful Swatara and includes a narrated history of the area.

  • Directions: The Middletown station features ramp access to the station building, ticket office and gift shop and features a fully ADA-accessible restroom facility. However, our historic trains cannot accommodate motorized wheelchairs or any wheelchair wider than 25 inches (including the bumper).
