Route 81X
Provides multiple round trips during weekdays between Shippensburg / Newville / Carlisle and Harrisburg.
Buses travelling to downtown Harrisburg and the Harrisburg Amtrak Station leave the Shippensburg Walmart at 5:40 am, 6:25 am, and 5:25 pm each weekday and from the Luhrs Center on campus at 6:15 am, 5:15 pm, and 5:40 pm. Travel time to Harrisburg via I-81 is approximately 60 minutes. Stops include the Newville Park & Ride on I-81 at Exit 37, the Park & Ride lot at Carlisle Commons Shopping Center, and the Route 114 Park & Ride lot in Mechanicsburg.
