This 18-acre park is conveniently located near the Carlisle Fairgrounds and features walking trails and a membership-only dog park. The dog park is run by the Carlisle Area Dog Park Association. For more information, visit carlisleareadogparks.org.
Groups: The park offers a rustic cabin which was fully-renovated in 2017, making it ADA-compliant and equipped with heating and air conditioning. It serves as an ideal meeting place for scout troops, church or business groups, family reunions or parties. The cabin consists of a great room that can seat up to 60 people, sun porch, kitchen, rest rooms, and a storage room. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, sink, and microwave oven. Renters must provide their own cookware, utensils, and dish towels. There is also a covered porch and breezeway, picnic tables, and a large grassy area. The cabin can be rented year-round for full (10 am to 11 pm) or half-days. No smoking or alcohol permitted. A rental application must be submitted in person at the Parks & Rec office.
